At the end of June, Dimitar Stamov, Sales & Marketing Director at PPS Manufacturing, had a successful visit to Munich, Germany. It is tied to the company’s vision – To provide people in every continent with local, carbon-neutral products of biodegradable gloves.
After the foundations laid by Georgi Petrov at his meeting with potential partners in Bavaria in May this year, this event is essential for PPS Manufacturing’s contribution to a greener future.
Together with Dr. Georgi Georgiev – Procurator and Innovation Manager, and teams of leading scientific organizations in Bavaria, Germany, and Europe, was established the German association – PPS Innovation GmbH. The company concentrates on achieving a sustainable production of nitrile gloves.
The main goals of the innovative process are – independence from the petrochemical industry, autonomy of raw material supplies from Southeast Asia, energy efficiency, 100% biodegradable products in compliance with all international standards.
The essence of the method lies in making the entire life cycle of nitrile gloves environmentally friendly and biodegradable – from the production with ecological raw materials, through energy and resource efficiency, to the complete organic recycling of the gloves in landfills. And this process will be free of microplastics, which are intensely harmful to the entire ecosystem and human health.
The achievement of this manufacturing technique and the implementation of complex technological and environmental solutions will be critical accomplishments not only on the territory of Europe but also on a global scale. In addition, this added value is a unique and colossal market success for the industrial capital of Bulgaria – Plovdiv.
Dimitar Stamov made serious progress for nitrile gloves in Germany. He presented PPS Manufacturing at key events. One of them is analytica – the largest laboratory technology exhibition in the world. Dimitar Stamov met with current partners from Switzerland and made vital connections with potential customers from the European Union in the healthcare, food processing, and automotive sectors.
PPS Innovation GmbH is already an active member of the New Materials Cluster of the Bavarian Innovation Agency. This action enables an intensive exchange with relevant partners from the region to achieve optimization of the production process of nitrile gloves. A well-established partner in achieving a biodegradable product is Europe’s largest applied science organization based in Germany – Fraunhofer.
