The Bulgarian company PPS Manufacturing – the first manufacturer of nitrile gloves in Europe, became a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (AmCham). The decision for the young company to join the community was made earlier this year at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Chamber.
The new factory, which will be based in Plovdiv, is a unique project for Bulgaria and Europe, as currently there is no production of protective nitrile gloves for the healthcare, industry and general use sectors on the continent and the possibility of establishing such an enterprise in our country, especially during a pandemic, will provide a great economic advantage to Bulgaria and the EU.

PPS Manufacturing is a unique Bulgarian startup, financed entirely through the Bulgarian initiative „Sustainable Cities Fund“, where the investment will exceed 10 million BGN and will create over 100 new jobs in the Plovdiv region. As a corporate member of the Chamber, the company will take part in all activities, including General Meetings, where it will be able to vote on projects and initiatives.
